Evansville, IN – Tammy Jo Boles, 59, of Evansville, Indiana passed away peacefully on February 11, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh with her family by her side.
Tammy was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on May 4, 1959 to the late Morris Davis and Paula Faye (Humble) Jackson.
She met her loving husband of 44 years, Kenneth, at the age of 12. They shared a love for each other that most people only dream of. She was his “Cakes”.
She loved their 5 grandchildren and as their “Nana”, she showered them with love and spoiled them with everything she had.
She also loved animals, especially dogs. Her late Tierra had the best life a dog could ever want. Spoiled to no end, they were inseparable.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Kenneth Boles; son Kenneth Boles Jr. (Dawnelle); daughter Kendra (Boles) Kuester (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Kelsey Boles, Jaelan Sanford, Kyle Boles, Kenneth “Bailey” Sanford and Blayne Boles; mother Paula Jackson; siblings LaRita Ledesma, Trina (Johnny) Messamore, Morris “Anthony” Davis, Christopher Jackson, Paul Jackson and Mandy Jackson.
She is preceded in death by her father Morris Davis; step father EJ Jackson; and grandmother Mary Ernestine Redden.
A celebration of life will be held at Turoni’s on Weinbach Ave. in Evansville, IN on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 12PM.
An intimate spreading of ashes ceremony will be held at a later date to fulfill her wish to be with her beloved Mammaw Ernestine.
