SHAWN DAVID PARKER
Sesser, IL. – Shawn David Parker, it is with tremendous sadness that the family of Shawn David Parker announces his sudden passing on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the age of 38 years, after a tragic accident.
Shawn was born on November 20, 1980.
From 1995 – 1999 Shawn attended Sesser-Valier High School, where he loved and played football. After high school, Shawn’s love for football continued throughout his life sporting the Minnesota Vikings. He was currently working on obtaining his associates degree in Information Technology. Shawn had a contagious laugh and the ability to make anyone and everyone smile. He had a unique, fun-loving personality that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Shawn was crazy, hard-headed, and stubborn, but had the biggest, kindest heart. Shawn loved children and took it upon himself to be a protector of many. He was immensely loved by many friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, whom he loved dearly, Frank and Shirley Beskidniak; father, David Parker; uncle, John Franklin; great-grandmother, Mollie Atchison.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Cindy Wilson; sister, Heather Wilga (Jason); Kristen Buza (Patrick); twin brother, Aaron Parker (Danielle and their children, Brandyn and Sierra), who always had his back; brother, Patrick Nally; nephews, Payton, Cole, Conner, and Garrett; niece, Alexandria.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Eagles Club in Ziegler, IL at 1 P.M.
