Evansville, IN – Wendall F. “Fred” Thacker, 62, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on March 5, 1958 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Jimmy Everett Thacker and Othea Jean (McDaniel) Davis.
Fred spent much of his time working on motorcycles and cars. He loved kids and enjoyed being with his many nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his siblings, Sheila Zink (Terry), Greg Thacker, Sherri Mays (Scotty), Sandy Brines, Charlsie Young (Brian), Shane Thacker (Sara) and Jamie Thacker as well as 17 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.
Fred is preceded in death by his brothers, James and Charles Thacker and his nieces, Emily Thacker.
A celebration of life in honor of Fred will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the New Life Nazarene Church located at 712 N Embree St. in Princeton, Indiana from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. with a service at 4. The family requests that any flower deliveries be made no earlier than 1:00 P.M. CST.

All I can think is all the many laughs, good times, just hammered!!! So much fun and so many stories! And if we weren’t having fun fuck head Fred would make it happen or we would just make fun of Chipper!! Lol Gosh I love them two!! And no matter how long we went and didn’t talk it didn’t matter when we did we would just pick right back up where we were!!!
