Evansville – Anna Francine Hoffman, 73, of Evansville, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
Anna was born November 21, 1946 in Evansville to the late Clara Smith, Thomas Smith, and James Simmons. She is Catholic in faith and enjoyed life and everyone she met. Her hobbies were spending time with her family, bingo (to win stuffed animals for her grandchildren and to donate to shelters), and jigsaw puzzles. She loved caring for others and would spend more time caring for others’ needs before her own.
Surviving are her soulmate, Lawrence Hoffman II; step-mother, Thelma Smith; two daughters, Dawn Woytasik and Angela (Hoffman) Barker; one son, Lawrence Hoffman III; three grandchildren, Christina Earle, Destiny Barker, and Liam Hoffman; two sisters, Dee Dee Ramirez and Sarah Glasgow; and one brother, Tom Smith; aunt Frances Isbell; uncle Frank Harrington; also, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Anna is preceded in death by three sons, Tommy, John, and Bobby Woytasik; aunt, Francis Higdon; and grandmother, Ada Davis.
A Celebration of Anna’s Life will take place on October 17, 2020 from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. at Howell Wetlands Shelter House, 1101 South Barker Avenue, in Evansville, Indiana 47712.
