I remember when she was born. She was a beautiful baby. Janet had a lot of talent. When she was a little girl her Mother would give her and Jane pieces of material and a needle and thread. She worked at the Men’s Warehouse in alterations as an adult. I remember her stunning performance as Mother superior in The Sound of Music while in High School. She had a very powerful voice and she played piano for church. Janet was a licensed Beautician and was very good at it. She took care of her family when they needed a beautician. God blessed her with so much talent. When she closed her eyes in death she was present with the Lord. She is now singing with the angels in heaven. I will see her again. I love the family and hope they will remember the good and be at peace.
Joy says

Loving, Thinking and Missing You Always & Forever Janet!

Words seem so empty, as your family once again is hit with another horrible tragedy. She was a survivor of so many other things that this is especially hard. I will miss chatting with her, & her words of support for me. I admired her strength.

I was very sad to hear today that Janet recently passed away. Janet was a very talented singer and pianist. I was always impressed by how well Janet, Joy, and Jane were able to blend their voices so well when they performed. Janet was a very kind, wonderful woman. She was very dedicated to her family and to her church. I remember and appreciate all the great haircuts she gave me, too! My condolences to Janet’s family on their loss. I know that Janet now enjoys being in Heaven, in the presence of Jesus, her Lord and Savior.
