Evansville, IN- Rick Reiter, 63, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 surrounded by his family.
Richard was born on April 24, 1957 to Roland Charles and Margaret Ann (Baker) Reiter.
After graduating from Central H.S., Rick went on to open Reiter’s Auto Repair and was a master mechanic. Rick had a passion for his work, and his customers were second family to him. Rick also enjoyed fishing, boating, and motorcycling. One of his favorite places was Lake Barkley.
Richard is survived by his son, Dane Reiter and two brothers, David and Danny Reiter. Also surviving is a niece, Jamie Reiter, and two nephews, Curtis and Josh Reiter.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Nancy Reiter; cousin, Chris Reiter and dear friend, Mike Brown.
There will be no visitation, nor funeral service. The family will have a small private service at a later date.

I met Rick one day taking my RX-7 to his shop. It wasn’t just being that his last name was the same as mine , but that he was the only one who worked on rotary engines in town that I knew of. Then I met his son 1 day , Dane. We tried to figure out if we was related by names of family members. Didn’t think we was until I see Rick’s obituary. Ricks brothers, Danny and David Reiter are my 1st cousins. God Bless..Nick Reiter
