Pamela Jo Welch, 58, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 surrounded by loved ones, after a 3 year struggle with ALS.
Pam was born on March 7, 1962 to Gale & Donna Dossett in Evansville, IN. She graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 1980. After high school Pam met and married the love of her life, Frank Welch. They married in 1981 and went on to have two beautiful children, Travis and Shauna Welch. Frank remained by her side until her passing.
Pam worked for many years as a dispatcher for Midwest Telecom, and then most recently for Premium Environmental Services. Pam was passionate about her family, her work and about animals. She and her family enjoyed spending quality time together at their lake house on Kentucky Lake. She enjoyed attending her children & grandchildren’s sporting events. Pam also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband & their friends as well as planting flowers at her home.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Donna Mae Dossett and Gale Richard Dossett. She is survived by her husband, Frank Welch of Newburgh, IN, son, Travis Welch (Brittany) of Evansville, daughter, Shauna Welch of Newburgh, Mother-in-law, Ursula Welch of Metropolis, IL, sister, Paula Pollitt (Dirk) of Urbandale, IA., 4 beautiful grandchildren, Keaton Arrick, Kinsley Winegar, Kierslynn Welch, Kaslyn Welch, two nieces, Madison Pollitt, Meredith Pollitt, and nephew Mitchell Pollitt .
A celebration of life gathering will be planned for a future date for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ALS Association Indiana Chapter PO Box 56023, Indianapolis In 46256.
