Sara Jane Leslie, 33, of Boonville, Indiana passed away at Linda White Hospice House surrounded by her family on August 13th. We said goodbye to our Cinderella. Born January 29, 1988 to Tony and Sherri Leslie.
She was preceded in death by her brother Nathan Wary, her Aunt Donna McDowell and grandmother’s Norma Leslie and Wilma Lancaster who are waiting for her with open arms.
She is survived by her parents, Tony and Sherri Leslie; brothers, Ryan Wary (Pamela) and Matthew Leslie (Adriane); aunts, Jane Ball (Alan) and Nancy Satterfield (Dave); uncle Mike Leslie (Anna); cousins, Cherry Satterfield, Allyson Jaebker, Ryan Leslie; nieces Autumn Taylor (Jonathan) and Catherine Wary; nephews; Ayden Wary, Rylen Wary and Brenden Leslie; great nieces and nephew.
Sara will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She really enjoyed all of our family holidays and cookouts together where she enjoyed being the photographer. We will cherish those pictures and memories. Sara never met a stranger and would always go out of her way to make sure everyone was included in whatever was happening.
She graduated from Boonville High School where she belonged to the drama club and was involved in all the plays during her high school years. She loved history and during her senior year her class traveled to England and France. Her dad and her shared a love of civil war history with trips to Gettysburg, Virginia and Washington, D.C. She was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Sara loved animals and was always rescuing some type of animal. She will be forever in our hearts.
There will be a private service with a celebration of life at a later date.

I want to offer my condolences to Sara’s family and friends. She was absolutely on of my favorite people. She worked at our local DG. I saw her at least once a week. She always went out of her way to greet every person that came in. She also really helped me out before and after my surgery. And even came out to the car on days that I was in too much pain to go in with my daughter just to say hi and see how I was doing. She was one of the exceptional people. I am so sorry for your loss.
