Edward “Ed” Underwood, 82, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 15, 1938 in Central City, Kentucky to the late Luther and Stella (Davis) Underwood.
Ed was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Kenbar Bass Club and The Loyal Order of Moose. He was the “best damn fisherman ever” and a great karaoke singer. He also loved boating, basketball and the New York Yankees.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary (Buckman) Underwood; his children, Tami Tenbarge (Bob) and Michelle Moore; his grandchildren, David Tenbarge, Brandon Williams (Jessica), Nicholas Tenbarge (Alexandra), Matthew Williams (Jess) and Kaycee Moore; 7 great grandchildren as well as his siblings, Gerald Dean Tinsley, Janis Stevens and Theresa Darlene Samsil.
Ed is preceded in death by his brother, Lee Underwood; his son in law, Mark Moore and his riding partner, Houston Rolley.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Twin Towers located at 3501 Mesker Park Dr., Evansville, Indiana from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and all family and friends are welcome.
