Antonio (Tony) M. Rodriguez

Antonio (Tony) M. Rodriguez, 83, of Evansville passed away on Friday September 10,2021 at Hamilton Pointe in Newburgh, Indiana.

He was born on August 15,1938 to the late Consuelo and Ricardo Rodriguez.

Tony retired from Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad after 47 years of service. He was an avid hunter, movie goer, music lover and quite the tech junkie. He loved anything nature especially watching sunsets. He enjoyed trail walking, sightseeing. He also enjoyed his visits to the local YMCA for daily exercise activity and engaging with his YMCA friends. He just loved being around people especially his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by Sisters, Cecilia Martinez and Rosalinda Sanchez.

Tony is survived by his only Son, Robert “Bobby” Rodriguez, Fiancé and companion of 20 years, Cherie W. Williamson; Sister, Martha Vazquez; Brother, Ricardo “Junior” Rodriguez; Nephews, Mario “Tony” Vasquez (Mary), Mario Martinez (Kim), Ricky Martinez (Tina), Omar Martinez (Theresa), Javier Sanchez; Nieces, Susan Sanchez (Carl), Marcy Sanchez-Czekala (John), Cecilia “Elida” Nolan (Tim) and Monica Allen.

A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at a later date TBD.
