Kyle Noel Peerman, 64, of New Harmony, Indiana, passed away September 20,2021 at 8:30 pm at home surrounded by his loving wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Kyle was born on July 16, 1957, to Louis Peerman and the late Delane Peerman of Boonville, Indiana. He graduated from Boonville High School in 1975 and attended Oakland City University. He married his best friend Kimberly Kay Peerman and together raised four beautiful daughters: Joylita (Craig) Timmons of Evansville, Indiana; Kassie (James) Gray of McCutchanville, Indiana; Amy Peerman of Owensboro, Kentucky; son-in-law (David Smith) of Evansville, Indiana; and Taylor Peerman of New Harmony, Indiana.
Kyle was a very loving and well-loved person. He was kind, funny, and lighted up every room he walked into. He was the person everyone wanted to be around because of his amazing personality. Anytime anyone needed something he was always there ready to help. Kyle was everyone’s sunshine. He was the sunshine when it was raining. He was the light in everyone’s story. He was the person who saved us at our lowest and knew how to cheer us up. He was our reason for happiness.
Kyle was the best and most caring “Papa” to his 9 grandchildren. He enjoyed attending sports events to support his grandkids. Kyle loved spending most of his time outdoors with his family. He loved working on cars, the family farm, and long talks with his wife and daughters. Kyle loved communicating in sign language with his daughter Taylor. After retiring from INDOT, he enjoyed tinkering on projects and making crazy crafts his wife found from Pinterest. He treasured spending time with his grandkids including riding golf carts, go-karts, hoverboards, tractors, and lawn mowers with them along Lee Road. Where he taught his grandchildren how to drive and everything there is to know about tractors/lawnmowers. He spent most days wanting to be outside surrounded by his family and loved ones.
In addition to his beautiful wife and daughters, Kyle is survived by grandchildren Eve, Augustine, and Jude Timmons; Aalayah, Kiana, Da’Jon Christian-Kyle, and Kai Gray; Danielle (Zachary) Robbins; and Cayden Kyle (Winegar); sisters Bambi (Dennis) Wilzbacher; Dee Dee (Steve) Jolly; and Krystal (Mickey) Wester; and nieces and nephews Logan Peerman, Courtney Johann, Michael Peerman, Amanda Hooper, Charlie Peerman, Marcus Jolly, Karissa Faith, Aaron Wester, Haley Koenig, Joshua Peerman, MaRanda Towery, Kyla Wallace, and Jacob Wester. He is also survived by long-time friends Charlie Carney, Richard Butler, and Tim & Christine Baker. Kyle was preceded in death by his mother Delane Peerman, brother Anthony Peerman, and great-nephews Tylan Peerman and Gavin Koenig.
Kyle was a fighter of polycystic kidney disease (PKD) for six years. Thank you to all the nurses at Devita West for loving him like he was family. Kyle requested his celebration of life to be a private ceremony due to his daughter and princess, Taylor Kay.
