Evansville, IN – Daniel Ray King, 62, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on November 3, 1958 in Evansville, Indiana to the late George and Zelma (Schroader) King.
Daniel was a member of the Laborers Union. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting antiques and fixing up cars. He also loved spending time with his family, his cats and most of all, making others laugh.
He is survived by his sisters, Teresa Hawes, Georgetta Gerling (Jerry), Linda Lurker Smith (Bart) and Rebecca Decker as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Charles Goad.
A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Crosswalk Fellowship Church located at 1510 North Cullen Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47715 and will begin at 11:00 A.M.
