Jim was a very friendly man! I met him just about a year or so ago. He had went to Old Union Church with me & his lady friend, Darlene Voegel. Darlene loved & cared for him as long as she was able. They were both going through some unanticipated health concerns. Jim was awesome with his wood carving abilities! My Pastor at the time, Baret Fawbush, went to the hospitals, nursing homes, & was a beacon of light in Jim’s dark circumstances! He told Baret he was ok with his relationship with God. What a blessing to know he’s in heaven now no more sickness or pain, burdens or sorrows. Thank You Jesus! Watch over us all! RIP JIM!

I only knew Jim a short time. I know he was very good working on wood carvings. He always had a joke to tell! I met him through Phil Fisher & Darlene Voegel. We all went to my church one Sunday around the middle of COVID Pandemic. He was very kind & my Pastor Baret Fawnbush was able to visit with Jim & encourage & pray with Jim several times in several different facilities.
Jim told Baret that he was fine in his relationship with the Lord. He knew quite a bit about Bible scriptures. He was a very caring man. I’m blessed to have been able to get him to various medical appointments before he started dialysis. RIP Jim! You’ve left us with some great memories! Now your pain free & among the Saints & the angels in heaven. Glad to have known you!
