I was so sorry to learn about Tony’s passing. He was such a kind person and gentle soul. He was definitely the best volunteer ever at Deaconess and we had so much fun working together. I have so many wonderful memories of Tony. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

Years ago I volunteered with Tony at the Boys and Girls Club. We would meet at my office at Deaconess Midtown, walk across the parking lot to my car, and drive to the club which was near Willard Library. We had the kindergarten group once a week. The kids loved Tony. I remember his long black coat blowing about as we walked across the parking lot. I had to stay on the correct side so he could see me and wouldn’t bump into me. Tony was a joy to be with and I’m so glad I knew him.

The loss of a child of any age can only truly be understood by those who have endured it. While there are really no words, I am sincerely sorry for your loss.
