We loved Barbara Jane. Jim graduated with her in 49 and I had the privilege to get to know her quite well. Lots of memories in common –James Dean Days, high school reunions. Barbara made a great judge at the JD Look-alike contest. Of course, NO ONE ever matched up to Jimmie! I could always have fun teasing her, and she was so full of spunk…..She once told me she loved me when she first met me when we hosted a reunion. What a special thing…..I loved her too. She was SO genuine……and never missed a birthday or Christmas card. Always a loyal friend and I could talk to her about anything.

Aunt Barbara was so sweet. Always caring and loving. Accepted all of Uncle Albert’s family as her own from the get go. When my grandmother, Margaret Winkler, passed; Aunt Barbara and Uncle Albert provided us a place to stay, comfort, love and support. I will miss her Facebook comments and missed her Christmas card this year. When my dad passed, she could not be there but made sure to send her love and support. He thought so much if her too. She will be missed but we will see her again one day.
