Shortly after I moved to Mt.Vernon, Indiana back in 2004. I ended up getting an apartment at what we called then and now. The dirty south! Southwind apartments. I had a neighbor who lived upstairs from me. That was loud! Obnoxious and vulgar! Just my kind of guy! I will never forget the day. That he introduced himself to me, in the hallway of our building. That day will forever be in my heart and memories! I can hear his deep voice now! I’ll never forget it! We became brother’s, pretty quick like! The memories that I have with him, was alway’s crazy and funny! Some stupid and scary! I wouldn’t change anything that happened back then! I consider myself to be a very lucky person! I have all those wonderful moments and memories because of him! He was a gift! He was a real friend to me and the other people. Who was lucky to have him, in there life!
He told me around the 3rd day of our friendship. That we needed to come up with, nicknames for each other. I remember when I told him that I had one for him. He said, what is it and it better not be stupid! Or he was going to beat my ass! In his chuckling deep voice. To me there was only one nickname that fit. That was B and he loved it! Now me on the other hand. I hated my nickname but I wore it proudly! To B, I was called, Agent J. For over a year and a half. Just about every day! We just had fun! Never had a bad word to say about one another! That’s special to me and it’s also rare!
B, you were 1 of a kind! I’ll never forget you! Thanks for all the great memories and for the lessons I learned. Your knowledge and huge heart, helped me become a better person! I know that we drifted apart these last several years, but it wasn’t because of anything bad! I’ve told hundreds of stories, to people over the years. Funny, crazy and all good, my friend! We’ll meet again someday and we will talk about old times! I wish now that, we would have stayed close! I love you B! Your friend, Agent J. a.k.a. John Anderson
