Evansville – Carol “David” Perry, 70, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 9 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital Evansville. David was born July 14, 1951 in Muhlenberg County, KY. He was a self-employed business owner and avid lover of nature, knowledge, and conversation.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hildred Perry and mother, Vernia Mae Perry; and sisters Joyce Marie Brown, Hilda Jean Wilhite, and Betty Jo Jernigan. Survivors include his daughters Keely “Perry” Hunt of Oakland City, Karla Goodman of Evansville, and Dawn Green of Ft. Branch; his brothers James Rodney Perry of Paducah and Billy Warren Perry of Princeton; 4 grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Evansville-based animal rescues The Talon Trust or It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue, or your favorite charity in David’s name.
