Lynda Lou Griffith, 73, Died 8:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Linda E. White Hospice House Evansville, IN.
Lynda had many achievements in life, she graduated College with a Bachelors Degree in interior design. She worked for Hakes Home Furnishing. Lynda took care of The Haven from 1986-1996. She was very active in her community and had many awards. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
Lynda was born in Clinton, Iowa on October 1, 1948 to Louis “Mick” and Donna (Bumann) Grinnall. Lynda married Dennis Griffith on August 20, 1969.
Surviving are her sons Shannon Griffith and Shain (Laine) Griffith; 5 Grandchildren Brandon, Hunter, Kearston, Alivia and Haven; sister Karen Tate; brother Michael Grinnall; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Griffith; her parents; brother Larry Carpenter; sister Sharon Vaughan; and beloved companion Buddy.

I’m so sorry Shannon and Shain!! I will never forget the summer Lynda painted the sidewalk like a yellow brick road. She wanted her grandson to have a yellow brick road!! I thought that was an epic grandma move!! She was a great neighbor!!

So sorry for your loss. I have known Linda for many years. Always wondered what was going on with her. We had lots of Tea Parties at Judy Workman’s house. She was a wonderful person. I still have a wind chime that she made for me 20 plus years ago. Prayers and condolences for her family.
