Evansville, IN – David A. White, 62, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born on February 5, 1960 in Henderson, Kentucky to Leonard White and Wanda (Gibson) Vaughn.
A tinkerer and outdoorsman, David loved hunting, fishing, grilling, camping and gardening. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Colts and Louisville Cardinals basketball, and had even coached baseball. He enjoyed golfing with his sons and loved his dog, Sammy.
David is survived by his sons, Tom White (Jennifer, Dayne White (Ashley) and Tanner White (Jessica); his grandchildren, Alexis, Isabel, Parker, Carson, Elliott and Calvin; his siblings, Clyde Daniel White, Ralph White, Donna Fonner, Teresa Ferraiolo and Mark White; his mother, Wanda Vaughn and his significant other, Melissa Lisanby.
He is preceded in death by his step father, Dallas Vaughn and his father, Leonard White.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Deaconess Midtown Cardiovascular ICU.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.
