OLNEY, IL – Kenneth Edward “Ed” Lynch, 59, of Olney, Illinois passed away on July 27, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Ed was born on September 11, 1962 to Kenneth Ray and Mildred (Mason) Lynch.
He was an avid fisherman, a coin and rock collector and loved spending time with his son.
Ed was a dedicated and a much-loved employee of Best Western in Olney. He took great pride in his work as a maintenance man there.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, a brother, a niece, and a brother-in-law.
Ed is survived by his son, Kenneth Lynch II; sisters Debra Sanders of Olney, IL; Dixie (Mike) Baker of Calhoun, IL; Cindy Murphy of Noble, IL; Boo (Brian) Tussey of Bridgeport, IL; his long time companion, Marilyn Berry and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 2:00 on August 13th, 2022, services will be at 3:00 P.M with Mike Baker officiating. Service will be at Antioch Christian Church, 2052 North Higgins Switch Road, Olney, IL.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with his care.

Ed was a great man friend coworker he was always there when u asked him for help and to have him and Kenneth for dinners was a blast laughing and cutting up there is no other man like him he will truly be missed in our house and hearts and prayers for all the family we love and miss you big man !!

Ed was such a great guy and would give you the shirt off his back (literally). He was so kind hearted and always ready to help anyone.
Even on his worst days, he was ready to work… sometimes having to take a minute to catch his breath, but got the job done. Fly high brother, until we meet again! ❤️
