Amy Greenberg says
Dear Faye and family,
I am Louie Krietemeyer’s daughter. Darrel used to play music with my Dad. I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of Darrel’s passing. He was always such a gentleman when I would see him. I was shocked to hear this because he had been on my mind a lot lately because he and his family were so good to my Dad when they were growing up. Thinking of my Dad always leads to memories of them playing music together. Dad thought of Darrel like I brother…I heard him say it so many times. I was so glad that Darrel was able to come and visit my Dad just before he passed away too. I’m sure that meant a lot to him. I’m also sure Dad was there waiting for him when he arrived in Heaven! Once, again I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. I would have loved to come to his service but we have moved to Alabama to be close to our son. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all! Amy Greenberg

Faye and family, we w were so sorry to hear of Darrel’s passing. We just found out last night. We had a hard time finding an obituary, so we are very late with our sympathy. We certainly enjoyed all the events and times that he played lead guitar for us! May he rest in peace.
Sincerely, Harold & Mary Decamps
