Roger Leo Boarman age 68 of Evansville passed away Tuesday May 30, 2023 at the Linda E. White Hospice House after a brief illness.
He was born June 4th, 1954 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Marvin and Justilene (Joyce) Boarman. He retired from the Laborers local 561.
He enjoyed fishing, was an avid pool player, loved his Rottweilers and was a Harley enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
Survived by his step-daughter Addison Apodaca of Princeton and her children; brother Mark Boarman (Cathy) of Evansville; sisters Rita Scales (Richard) of Evansville and Cindy Sparks (Stephen) of Ayrshire; nieces Jamie Appman (Steve) and Jessica Utley (Brian) of Evansville; several aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews and many cousins.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank his personal angel/friend Carrie for her support and care over the past few months and the staff at the Linda E. White Hospice House for the amazing care & support they gave to Roger and his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Recycled Rotts Inc. (Rottweiler rescue) P.O. Box 1082, Oswego, Illinois 60543 – In memory of Roger Boarman.
Simple Cremation in Evansville is handling the arrangements.
