Debra “Debbie” Lynn Hunter was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to anyone who knew her. She left this world peacefully on June 14th, 2023 at age 67.
Debra was born to the late William Sanford Hunter and Betty (Kirkwood) Hunter-Daugherty on November 4th, 1955.
She attended the Indiana School for the Deaf, ISD, and Ivy Tech. Debbie lived as a free spirit, travelling, and living all over the country making priceless happy memories with anyone she met.
Debbie was an avid horror fan and always loved a good scary movie or book. Since she was a young girl, she amassed an awe-inspiring collection of skulls, skeletons, scorpions, comics, Nintendo games, and Steven King novels. Debbie also enjoyed crocheting and made beautiful afghans.
Those close to Debbie knew her two musts: Diet Coke and Una Pizza.
Debbie is survived by her brother, Kevin Hunter; sister; Loycene Sollman; and nephew; Jay Sollman.
Debbie cherished her family and always made time for them and her extended family, Louis Carpenter, Melissa Elston (Maddie and Landon), Lydia Carpenter (Ainsley and Paxton), and Krystal Amburn.
