C. L. Parks Jr. AKA Carl Leroy Parks Jr was born in Huntingburg IN on December 16 1969 to Linda Stevanson (Harris) and Carl L Parks Sr.. Jr. As he was known as from family and friends died in his home in Otwell IN September 1st 2023.
He spent most of his life working as a construction worker/ Jack of all trades. He loved working with his hands, whether it was roofing, plumbing, gardening, automotive mechanics, or just playing in the backyard with his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and the ability he had to work with his hands. He loved camping, fishing, plinking, and grand cookouts. He also loved riding around the town and backyard on a mower with his grand son and teaching his grand daughter how to play corn hole or planting flowers. He was disabled the last 8 years, so he got to spend a lot of time making lifelong memories with his grandchildren. He will always and forever be known as the papaw that loved pushing the limits. His number one thing he instilled into his daughter and grandchildren was to push further as the only limit is oneself.
He is predeceased by his father Carl L Parks Sr., his brother Steve Jackson (Parks) and widowed by Cecelia Parks.
He is survived by his mother Linda Stevanson (Harris), step dad Darly Stevanson, youngest biological daughter Ashley Ann Shepers (Parks), eldest daughter Chelsea L Jackson (Parks), and his two pride a joys grand children Hermione G Jackson and Rowan A Jackson.
The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for showing Jr, respect, dignity, and compassion. Also would like to thank the Otwell Volunteer Firefighters coming out and helping to respectfully and dignifiably helping simple cremation to send Jr to his final resting place.
