Evansville, IN – Robert Lee Sensmeier, 81, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born on July 3, 1942 in Evansville to the late Wilbur John August and Luella Philobena (Boske) Sensmeier.
Robert had proudly served in the Evansville Air National Guard, Battery B for 20 years. He loved attending the Bridge Church and in his younger years he enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki (Ebmeier) Sensmeier; his children, Alicia Flenner (D.J.), Robyn Mattingly (D.J.) and Todd Sensmeier (Misty); his grandchildren, Symphony, Makala, Lindsey, Trey, Cameron and Hunter; 3 great-grandchildren and his sister, Elljean Nichols (Jerry) as well as several nieces and nephews.
Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Sensmeier.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.
