Vicky Lynn Crevello, aged 73, of Evansville, IN sadly left us on April 12th, 2024, for life’s next journey following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.
Vicky (née Heugel) was born on November 10, 1950, in Evansville IN to JD and Virginia Heugel where she grew up. Vicky lived and worked in Miami, FL, Littleton, CO, and Palm Desert, CA prior to returning to Evansville to be closer to family in the mid-2000s. During her years in California, Vicky was a much loved Activities Director for the Lawrence Welk Resort & Country Club, and later worked as a licensed real estate agent for an exclusive housing development in Palm Desert, CA. She was always a ray of sunshine for those whose paths she crossed.
Vicky is survived by her loving, younger brother JD Jr and sister-in-law, Joni Heugel of Noblesville, IN and her twin daughters Gina and Stacy Crevello (Washington DC) along with Gina’s spouse, and “her favorite (and only) son-in-law” Paul Noyce (Accord, NY). She leaves behind many cherished friends and extended family members all who found Vicky a joy to be with.
Vicky had a passion for travel, her pets and making everyone smile. When she had the opportunity she would travel the world. She was blessed to have had many great adventures in her life and she loved traveling with her daughters who fondly remember their first big adventure to Europe with Vicky at age 14 and many more trips around the globe with her throughout their lives together. When she was not traveling she was content at home in her sunroom with her cats or tending her flowers. Vicky had an infectious smile, and always brightened up the room. She loved having a nice glass of wine with friends on sunny afternoons and she certainly would not want us to be sad, but rather to celebrate with her.
Join us for a Life Celebration for Vicky on June 8th, 2024, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Reitz House Museum Carriage House, where she enjoyed spending time in their beautiful surroundings, with a glass of wine at their events.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that donations be made to Heart to Heart Hospice Care through their foundation (htohhfoundation.org).
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.
