Theadore “Ted” Lee, 71, of Petersburg, IN passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, in Evansville, IN. He was born on April 22, 1952, in Oakland City, IN to George (Eunice Royalty) Lee.
Proceeding him in death was his parents George and Eunice, three brothers: Don, Dallas, and J.R.; a sister Mary Liz, a son Theodore Lee J.R., and a great granddaughter Adelynn “Addie” Lee.
Ted married Helen Bradfield on February 3, 1971. He was a hardworking family man who grew up farming and retired from coal mining in 2014 after working more than 30 years. His quick wit and bright smile could lighten up any room or situation. His generosity was well known by others as he was always lending a hand to those in need. Ted’s greatest achievement in life was the love, knowledge, and laughter he shared with his family.
