Corum G. Evans, 86, of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.
He was born on January 21, 1938 in Arkansas to the late Corum “Doc” and Lindell Odell Evans.
He served honorably in the United States Army. After his military service ended he had various jobs.
He loved fishing, hunting, and his fur babies. He was also known as “Uncle Bubby” and “Pops” to family and friends.
He is survived by daughter, Lindel; step-children Gary and Chris McCarty; brother-in-law Owen Melick; sister-in-law Connie Evans; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Evans; his siblings Kay Groves Underwood, Becky Austin, Rita Peyton, Kennda Melick, Delores Nunley, Wayne Evans and James I. Evans.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Simple Cremation has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville Indiana.

I’m so sorry to hear about this and I actually just got the news just now. He was my uncle bubby and I loved him very much. He was such a kind person. My Mom loved All her brothers and sisters and she had a special place in her heart for each of them! It’s so Sad that they’re all gone now. They’re all together once again,as the close family they always were ! LOVE Cameo .
