Petersburg, IN – Anthony Mac Wright, 77, of Petersburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his home. He was born on December 31, 1942 in Gibson County, Indiana to the late Ottis Wright and Dorothy (McCandless) Singleton.
Anthony was a retired coal miner, hunter and fisherman. He owned the Wright Village Inn for the past 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Nickell) Wright; brother, Jerry (Barbara) Wright of Tyler, TX; son, Anthony M. Wright of Evansville, IN; half-sister, Sara Singleton Nichol, Carlisle, IN; stepchildren, Shane Nalley (Angela) of Nashville, IN, Dawn Nalley Arnold of Petersburg, IN; grandchildren, Jordan Nalley, Peyton Nalley, Tyler Nalley, Michael Nalley, Ashley Arnold and a great grandson, Kayden Ortiz.
A celebration of life in honor of Anthony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice to help another in need.
The family gives a big thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice for all of their care, concern and help during this trying time.
