Dear House Family, Barry was a unique man with a wonderful intellect and kind soul. His sense of humor was beyond belief and his ability to make everyone he met feel comfortable was extraordinary. I am very sorry for your loss as well as mine. Barry was one of my closest and dearest friends. I enjoyed hearing his commentary on any number of topics from current affairs to UK sports and anything in between. I felt safe with him. He will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences.
