Benny Vanderlinden

Newburgh, IN – Benny passed away September 9, 2022, with family and friends at his side.  He was born October 28, 1968, in Evansville, Indiana.  Benny was in the Air Force and travelled the world.  However, his favorite place was in Newburgh with his family.  He loved animals, of all kinds, and throughout his life always had some kind of aquarium with a varment in it, or a cage with whatever he could pick up.

Benny’s favorite past time was tormenting his sister, Dana.  She spent hours on end with him as they laughed and talked about their childhood.  When she came in, every nurse would say “oh, you’re Dana”.

Benny is survived by his daughter Sydney, who attends University of Mississippi, parents Ben and Jama, sister Dana (Mike), two nephews, an aunt, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents and an uncle.

We would like to offer special Thanks to Kim and to his lifelong friend Amy.

Private services will be held at a later date.

We will miss you sweet man.
