Beverly Jean Woodward-Willing born June 25, 1951, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024, due to congestive heart failure.
Beverly is survived by her loving son, James “Woody” Woodward, his wife, Becky Woodward, her cherished granddaughters, Brandie (Bret) Nowak, Tiffany Woodward, her brother, Mark Rivers and her sister, Loris Rivers. She also leaves behind a rich legacy of numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and even great-great-nieces and nephews, who all held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ellen and Glenn Rivers, and her brother, David Rivers.
Beverly spent much of her career as a waitress, but she was always a dreamer at heart. She had a passion for learning and embraced technology with enthusiasm. Beverly had a deep love for her pets and was particularly fond of turtles. She also had a special affinity for the color purple, which brought her great joy.
Her memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who knew her.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honor her memory and share their fondest stories.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Beverly’s name, to honor her love for animals and her compassionate spirit.

Through the good and bad, we always loved and cared about each other. I have a lot of fond memories of so many things we did together. You were always a very giving person. I will miss knowing that your not in this world with us anymore and waiting for you to come around. I still considered you my sister in law.
