Charles Basil Marsh, 65 of Birdseye, Indiana passed away March 26, 2020, at home, surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dexter and Gwenn Marsh of Ashland, Kentucky and his oldest sister, Alice Arterburn of Nashville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his loving companion of 29 years, Carla Hochgesang; his children, Dustin (and wife, Olivia) Marsh and Danielle (Marsh) Ahadi-Akhlaghi; his grandsons, Logan, Caleb, Ian, Jacob, and Eli; his siblings, Suzanne (and husband, Hutch), Donald (and wife, Kathy), and Linda (and husband, David); his brother-in-law, Danny, and uncle Eddie (and wife, Elsie); his nieces and nephew, Christine (and husband, Dennis), Jon (and wife, Junko), Elizabeth (and husband, Steve), Caroline (and husband, Mikel), Sarah (and husband, Stephen), Mary, Victoria, and Emily; his four great nieces and nephew.
The family would like to thank all staff at Heart-to-Heart Hospice Care, first responders from the Birdseye Fire Department and EMTs, and staff of Memorial Hospital.
