Deanna was a person who loved people, and most importantly loved her Lord. She often spent time, praying and reading her Bible. There were some thoughts and scriptures that brought her great comfort. We also would pray that they would bring great comfort to you as well.
John 14:6 says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” You can find comfort today.
First by Knowing You are a Sinner.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Second the Penalty for Sin is Death and Hell.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death….
Revelation 20:15 “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Third Jesus Paid Our Sin Debt.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 6:23 …. but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Lastly, You Must Receive Jesus Christ as Your Savior.
Romans 10:9-13 That if thou shall confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”These scriptures gave Deanna much comfort and they can give you, comfort and peace today if you Pray and put Your Faith and Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ
