Debra Ann Dillon, age 72, passed away on September 17th, 2024 at her home in Mt. Vernon accompanied by family and friends.
Debra “Debbie” was born on January 14th 1952 to Jack and Gertrude Dillon.
She graduated Castle High School and retired from the Laborers Union #561. Debbie was a dedicated and hard worker who made many friends while working for the union.
Debbie always spoke her mind. She was always unapologetically herself and will be remembered for her spirited personality.
She was a beloved and well respected member of her neighborhood and community.
Debbie liked going for walks or an occasional bike ride through her neighborhood.
She loved spending time with friends and family but she especially loved spoiling and playing with her grandchildren and other children in the family.
She will be loved and missed by many.
Debbie is survived by her son Jeremy Dillon (Dana), granddaughter Cassandra Dillon (Cameron Theriac), great grandchildren Aurora Sturgeon, Cheyenne Theriac, sister Tracy Hahn and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Gertrude Dillon, four brothers Eddie, Charlie, Elmer and Jodie, two sisters Tonya and Gail.
There will be no public services as the family is hosting a private gathering in her honor.
