Sending my condolences to the entire family. Debbie and I have remained friends since we were 13 years old. Life has taken us both in different directions, but nothing or no one ever got in the way of the Love we felt for each other. She was the funniest person I knew. She was blunt and feisty. We were different as night and day but we loved each other for who we were. Rest in Peace my Bestie – I will always love you. Your Bestie, Ronnetta (Ronnie) Brown. XXOO

This is a life lost too soon. Debbie was someone I’ve known since junior high. She always seemed like someone who would have given the shirt off of her back. Unfortunately, life didn’t return the favor. Rest in peace, Debbie.

My heartfelt condolences to Debbie’s family and close friends, she and I were friends since school probably around the 6th grade when I started Castle, when I was out and about normally running errands, either turning the corner or simply looking up and surprise there was Debbie generally a cheerful positive, kind of busy but having fun with it mood I’ll definitely miss that smile, she was truly one of a kind, the very best kind, I felt privileged to be friends with her, her style suited her well never ever to be forgotten, my prayers go to her family, may she rest in peace… Way way too early

Debbie was an amazing person. I’ve known her since grade school. We were inseparable during our troubled teen years. Life sent us in different directions when I moved away. I lost touch with her for a long time but when we met again it was as if no time had passed at all. Our friendship was still as strong as back in the day. I wish we could have met up again once I moved back to Evansville — sadly we never had the chance. She was a strong, independent, take no crap but very loving and generous person. She will be greatly missed. She impacted so many lives and her spirit will live on in each of our hearts. She will not be forgotten. Love, Light, Peace and Comfort for Debbie, her beautiful family and the multitude of friends she had.

I’ve known Debbie for a lot of years. Her and my older sister worked together for the town of Newburgh. That’s how I met her. I was about 10. That was 43 years ago. She was always helping anyone in need and I feel for her family. Debbie was an amazing friend and loved her family. God has gained a wonderful angel. Sending prayers and thoughts for them during this difficult time. Please let Lisa and Lydia know too I’m thinking of them. God bless

Up until her passing, we talked daily and tried our best to never stray again. Her heart was bigger than anyone I ever knew. That smile and laugh ill NEVERA FORGET. Blessings and Peace to all of you thru this trying time.

My prayers for Deb’s kids, grandkids, and siblings.
Deb and I have known each other since jr high. We shared a lot of first things together. My first concert, my first drink, etc. Life sent us different directions but when we found each other again it was as if no time had passed. My daughter did her hair the entire time that she was a hair dresser. I so appreciated her supporting her career.
Deb was a special person. She was tough but she also had a heart of gold that had been broken so many times. She always wanted to help others, including those that she couldn’t.
Cups up Deb, I hope you are at peace and happy. I will miss seeing you and hearing from you.

I’m not good at this stuff or my words but here it goes.
I’ve known Debbie since 1st grade. New to the school and New to the school bus, I get on (being very quiet and shy) and this girl grabs my arm and tells me to sit, well I did.
Well at first she probably scared the tarnation out of me but we soon became best of friends.
We have stayed friends throughout our years with going thru children, marriages, divorces, moves, hard times and the best of times.
It’s very hard this time coming home to visit.
I’ve never came into town and you not coming here to see me. I miss you more than you Will ever know and the is no way I’m saying goodbye to you. I’ll see you later (hopefully much later) but I will be there eventually to hang with my bff again but until then I will always Iove you and cherish the great memories we’ve shared on our 50 yrs together.
