Diana Sue (Staples) Hamilton born on August 31, 1954 to the late Eugene Neil and JoAnn Staples passed away on March 9, 2021 at her home in Evansville, Indiana.
Diana is survived by her husband, Clarence Henry Hamilton, two step children, Kelly Hamilton and Cary Hamilton and six grandchildren.
Diana has two brothers, Gene Staples in Slater, Iowa and John Staples of Evansville, Indiana. Two sisters, LaDonna Nation of Evansville, Indiana and was predeceased by Terri Montgomery also of Evansville, Indiana.
Diana worked in office administration most of her life, as a full charge bookkeeper and in cash management. Her employers of note were CBRE, a national real estate concern, Mid America Apartment Communities, Church of the Holy Communion and the Golden Nugget Casino.
Diana lived most of her life in Las Vegas, Nevada and Memphis, Tennessee. She recently had moved back to Evansville, Indiana.
Diana was a loving wife and step mother. She had two causes she felt extremely strongly about, St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and the ASPCA, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
In lieu of flowers please donate to either one of the worthy causes Diana felt so deeply about.
There will be a private family memorial service.
