Evansville, IN – Donald Keith Darling, Jr., 74, passed away October 19, 2022. He was born on June 9, 1948 to Donald and Robbie (Brooks) Darling in Evansville, Indiana.
Donald, who went by “Donnie” worked over 20 years for the City of Evansville. Donnie was known for his love of music, playing his guitar and singing every week with his 3 brothers, Ricky, Bobby and Jerry as well as his best friend Steve and his wife Cheryl. In addition, Donnie enjoyed hanging out, cutting up and cracking jokes with his buddy, “Big Daddy” Tony.
He cherished the time spent with his family creating memories. Donnie will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Sherrie and Jackie and two brothers: Ricky and Bobby.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda (Kitzinger) Darling; two daughters, Heather Negron (Joe) and Melissa Mosby; son, Bud Darling; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and his very special, appreciative niece, Charlene Williams.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
