Evansville, IN – Donald Lee Lemp, 64, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born on November 2, 1956 in East St. Louis, Missouri to the late David Lemp and Patsy Webb.
Donald belonged to the Local #561 in Evansville, the Floppy Hat Guy Breakfast Club and the Oddballs Pool Club. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
He is survived his wife, Shari (Mattingly) Lemp; his children, Jennifer Postpichal (William Jones), Jamie Lemp and Jacob Lemp; his step-children, Jerry Thacker and Katelin Benefiel; his grandchildren, Jace, Madison, Bianca, Natalia, Christian, William, Maxwell and Maliyah; his step-siblings, Phyllis, Cheryl and Herb as well as his parents-in-law, Ronald and Barbara Mattingly.
Donald is preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Lemp.
A special thanks is extended to Heart to Heart Hospice, St. Vincent Oncology Unit, Mark Mattingly and Kathy Curtis.
A memorial service for Donald will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday November 11, 2021 at Howell General Baptist Church 1520 Delmar Ave. Evansville, Indiana 47712.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
