Donna Gay Bennett, 83, of Newburgh, Indiana passed away peacefully at her home on June 6, 2023. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 16, 1940 to Esther and Robert Mustgrave.
Donna graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in 1958, then graduated from Lockyear College of Business in 1961. She was Production Scheduler at Whirlpool. Donna had a long battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia as well as other health issues. Despite the odds this woman was definitely a fighter. Donna made a lasting impact on everyone she met, and will continue to do so even in death.
Although a stubborn lady, she was very loving and kind to those around her. She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church for over 20 years. She loved bird watching, word puzzles (she was over level 2,000), sitting on the porch by our fish pond, watching sports, and was a heavy chocolate eater, as well as many other things.
Donna is survived by her Life Partner of 50 years, Candace Martin, her son Gregory Alan Bennett, her daughter-in-law Gayle Bennett, her 4 grandsons and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Esther and Robert Mustgrave, her son Eric Lee Bennett, and her grandson Drew Michael Bennett.
Celebration of Life will be planned.
