Earl D.Heacock, 76, passed away October 6, 2024 in Warrick County, IN. He was born in East Chicago, IN to the late Charles and Annie Heacock.
Earl proudly served his country 6 1/2 years in the Marine Corps where he learned the trade of heavy equipment maintenance. This led to a career in the field; managing at Kolb Diesel, supervising at Alcoa, and instructing at Oakland City College.
Earl was always eager to learn new things which produced many hobbies and skills. He was the go-to guy for many. His different interests were the result of opening multiple businesses, including, Addicted to the Arts and The Bunker in Evansville, IN.
Earl is survived by his beloved wife, Laya, of whom he absolutely adored, mother-in-law Dolores, best friend Greg Dillon, daughter Miki, and grandson Joseph.
Private services will be held.

I am so saddened to hear of Earl’s passing he was a remarkable man , extremely wise , very likable whom I consider was a very good friend to me . As of the time that I am finding this out I , am scheduled for surgery today and I called to talk with him because I was thinking of doing my rehab at the same facility Earl was at so I could be near him . My most sincere condolences to all of Earl’s s loved ones .
