Greg Allen Curtis,70 went to be with Jesus on June 10th, 2024 at Heart to Heart Hospice. Greg was born on June 29th, 1953 to the late Hugh V. Curtis, and Wilma Wright Curtis.
He graduated from North High School in 1972 where he was active in tennis and football. He worked as a salesman in construction for most of his life. Greg loved playing golf and always enjoyed nature and lived his life to the fullest. Greg is known for always helping the less fortunate and treated everyone he became to know as his own family and never met a stranger. Greg believed there is “No such thing as a bad kid” and fulfilled that by starting the bicycle giveaway known as Make a Difference in 2005 before it was taken over by Ivy Tech. Greg fought a long battle with M.D.S. and was blessed with wonderful nurses at the Deaconess Infusion Center where he was treated weekly. Greg will be sorely missed by his many friends and family and all of the caring friends he met through his AA meetings.
Greg is survived by his wife of 50 years Sheila(Rawlins), sons Christopher and Jeremy(Kaylee).Greg was also known as “Papaw” to his grandchildren Alexandra,Olivia,Raelyn,Reice,Koryn,Preston and great grand child Michael. Brothers Marc(Terri) Curtis,Stan(Jeanne) Curtis,Gary(Kathy) Witham,Ronnie(Cindy) Witham. Greg was also cherished by his 2 sister in laws Deana and Sandy and many neices and nephews.
Greg was proceeded in death by his brothers Jimbo and Jeff and sister Lucia. The family will be celebrating his life at the Vandeburgh 4H Center on June 22nd from 12-5.

Greg is greatly missed. I always enjoyed talking with Greg and Sheila. He took a deep interest in the neighborhood. He was always caring for his family. I will miss him very much.

Just found out today that Greg passed. We don’t take the paper. He was a great guy. Enjoyed talking to him and Sheila..we delivered paper to them .
