Evansville, IN – Gregory Gene Graves, 69, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Heart to Heart Inpatient Unit in Evansville. He was born on December 25, 1953 in Boulder, Colorado to the late Edward and Dona (Holsberry) Graves.
Gregory had a great passion for horse racing and had worked many years at Fairmont Park in Collinsville, Illinois. In his free time he also enjoyed fishing and loved to cook.
He is survived by his siblings, Janice Goebel (Paul) and Michael Scott Graves; nieces and a nephew Jeremy Goebel (Jessica), Kristy Bell (Chris), Nina Craig (Rolland), Kelsey Graves, and Lexi Hobgood; and many great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate care.
