Helen “Dena” Nadine (Ross) Compton, 66, of Owensville, Indiana passed away January 7, 2025, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.
Dena was born November 4, 1958, in Griffith, Indiana to James Elwood Ross and Mary Roselyn (Harrington) Williams.
Deana loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed her flowers, swimming and roller skating.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Edward Ross; and in-laws.
Deana is survived by her husband, Donald “Don” Ray Compton; children Heather Malanda Compton, Christina Ruth (Compton) Madison, James Lee Ayers, Sr., and Bambi Lynn (Compton) Adkins; brother, Eric Lee Williams; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a big extended family and multiple friends that adored her so much.
She was loved by so many, but mainly by her family. She will forever be missed.
No services will be held. Friends and loved ones may send their condolences to the family at www.simplecremationevansville.com. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dena, was a great friend. I will miss her posts on fb. Dena, loved her family so much. She never wanted to leave them. She loved her life.
