Calhoun, KY – James Elvis McClure, 62, of Calhoun, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on April 25, 1958 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Lawrence and Anna (Agee) McClure.
“Jimmy” enjoyed watching sports and was a Kentucky Wildcats fan. He was a handyman who enjoyed spending time outdoors and vacationing. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Hibbs (Jesse) and Jennifer McClure; grandchildren, Allison Morris, Katelyn Morris, Aarron Hibbs, Carter Huddleston; great grandson, Huxtyn Decker; siblings, Paulette Nash (Stanley), Burke McClure (Rhonda) and a life partner, Janet McClure.
James is preceded in death by his siblings, Anna Jean Nole (Harold) and Wayne McClure.
A celebration of life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Sebree, Kentucky on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. lead by Brother Bob Hardison.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.

Jimmie was much to young and we will miss him. We were able to see him and be with Jennifer in Indianapolis but not for his final service.
Paulette and I wanted so much to be with you all. Our medical situations would make covid19 to dangerous.
