Joe Chambers says
The racing community lost an Icon with the passing of “JimmyJeep”. Jim and his yellow Jeep traveled the racing circuits for decades. He never entered a race track without having a string of racers, fans, photographers, officials or media stop by to chat with him. Jim loved open wheel racing and dedicated a good part of his life putting a spotlight on the hundreds of local push truck drivers around the country through his Jimmy Jeeps Push Truck World website. Jim was an advocate of education and pushing safely as he traveled the racing circuits. Jim and I spent many years traveling to races together. You left a mark my friend and will forever be in the hearts of those you touched along the way. Rest In Peace Jim, you’ve earned it.
