Jennifer Dawn (Hall) King, 44, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital with her closest family by her side.
Jennifer was born on February 25, 1975 in Evansville, Indiana the daughter of Carl Joseph and Nancy Lee (Moore) Hall.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who brilliantly coped with life’s challenges with the utmost courage, dignity, and grace. She had an unwavering optimistic spirit that knew no bounds. She was kind and generous, always putting others first. Her energy, strength, and thoughtfulness to others never ceased to amaze everyone around her. Jennifer was the center of our world, and there are no words to describe how much she will be missed.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Shawn Christopher King of Evansville, Indiana; sons, Collen Schenk, Owen, Dylan and Nolan King; sister, Michelle Amento; nephews and niece, Ethan, Cameron, Aydan, Rylan and Stella; 2nd set of parents, Dick and Lucy Schenk; many uncles, aunts, cousins; and beloved dogs, Topper, Cash and June.
Jennifer was preceded in death by grandparents, Richard Hall, Norma Jean Reed, and Owen and Virginia Moore.
A memorial Celebration of Life gathering (QUEEN OF KINGS FOR #WARRIORJENNIFER) will be held on Saturday & Sunday, August 17th & 18th, 2019 from 2 pm Saturday until 5 pm Sunday at the Fraternal Order of Police PAL camp on Happe Road, Evansville, Indiana.
Special thanks to all whom have been there by our side during her fight. I think we all agree that Jennifer’s 16 year battle with cancer was fought with bravery, strength, and class.
