Kelly S. Gray, age 59, of Evansville, Indiana entered into rest at the Linda E. White Hospice House on September 14, 2024 after an incredibly courageous battle to lung cancer. Kelly was born December 4, 1964 to the late Kenneth McNabney and surviving Patricia (Hall-McNabney) Castongia.
Kelly was a graduate of South Newton High School. She worked a variety of service and production jobs and enjoyed her time working at Whirlpool before early retirement. Kelly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest pleasure was spending time with those she loved. Her hobbies included cooking for her family and baking with her oldest grandson. Holidays spent with family was what she always looked forward to the most.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years James, daughters Kati Layhew, Sadie (Kevin) Manion and grandsons, Rylan, Henry and Rory. Mother, Patricia (Hall-McNabney) Castongia and bother, Steve (Angela) McNabney.
She is preceeded in death by her brother, William “Bill” McNabney.
A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at a later date.
