Kimberly Dean Barnett, 67, of Evansville, passed away on May 12, 2022.
She was born on January 3, 1955 to the late Frances Ann Welling and Harold Dean Cope.
Kim worked as a nurse for over 40 years. After obtaining her FNP, Family Nurse Practitioner, license and she went on to teach nursing skills to students at the University of Southern Indiana. She was an avid horseback rider throughout her lifetime, she also enjoyed crafting, baking and gardening. Most of all Kim loved spending time with her family and taking her grandchildren on fishing and camping trips.
Kim is survived by her daughters, Erica deJong (Bryce) and Melissa Cunningham (Drue); grandchildren, Kaidon, Bryson, Jasper and Jace; sister, Karen Straus; brother, Eric Cope.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, her final resting place will be in Pacific View Mortuary and Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California.
