Leroy Zane Hogan, age 68, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was born in Posey County, Indiana, and spent his early years in California before moving back to the area in eighth grade, where he grew up in St. Wendel, Indiana.
A devoted family man, Leroy was married to Tina Hogan for over 10 years. He took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather, cherishing every moment spent with his daughters and grandchildren. His love for family was evident in everything he did, always offering support and assistance whenever it was needed.
For 40 years, Leory worked diligently at Morton Avenue Warehouse, where he was known for his hard work and commitment.
Outside of work, he had a passion for animals, and over the years, he welcomed many pets into his home. Most recently, he enjoyed the companionship of his beloved cat, Becca, and his granddog, Kimo. Leroy also found joy in fishing and spending time outdoors.
Leroy was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was fixing problems around the house or offering advice, his willingness to help was a reflection of his kind and generous spirit.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Hogan; his mother, Mary Louise Hogan; his father, Virgil Elden Hogan, Sr.; and siblings, Noah, Mary, Jerry, Christine, Virgil, and Richard Hogan.
Leroy is survived by his daughters, Theresa Brotherton and Cindy Daily (Jason); his stepdaughters, Sarah Adams (Tyler) and Jennifer Dosch; grandchildren, Zane Brotherton, Jack, Ellora, Luke, and Isla Daily, Layla, and Sterling Adams; his brother, Michael Hogan (Debbie); along with nieces, nephews, and many others whom he loved dearly.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially his family. His memory will live on through the love and warmth he shared with those around him.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, at Burdette Park Lakeside Shelter in Evansville, Indiana. Friends and family are welcome to attend from 12 to 3 PM.

I will always call him Mr. Hogan. We have worked together for the last 8 years. Most recently at the Madison St warehouse in Henderson, where he has reliably managed the facility for the past year. He had become a trusted friend, and we will really miss him.
There will never be another Mr. Hogan. He was full speed fast forward, always had a plan, and wasn’t afraid of offering his opinion. In his last weeks, he trained a 28 year old college graduate to operate our Hyster Fork Truck #42. (Who refers to Mr. Hogan as a Fork Truck God.)
He knew I am somewhat of a religious person, and I am confident he wouldn’t have minded me saying God Bless Mr. Hogan, and his family!
